Once upon a time, my friend and I decided not to go to a typical tourist place, but just to follow the map “wherever our eyes were looking”. In the end, we accidentally ended up in a small village with some unreal scenery - a lake, pine trees, and no one around. We lived there for a couple of days at the locals' place, ate homemade food, and walked around without communication. Since then I think the best routes are the ones that aren't in the tops. Has anyone had similar experiences with unexpected locations?

Hello everyone! I just got back from an unforgettable trip to Japan. It was a real adventure, full of adventures and joy. One of the things that made everything easier was using a Mobal sim card Japan . I had internet everywhere, which helped with maps, transfers and staying in touch.
Oh yeah, you just described my favorite travel format - no plan, but a good attitude. I had something similar a couple of years ago when I was in the US for the first time. And now, Idaho living , I often discover tiny paths and abandoned places where I feel like a discoverer. For example, on one of our trips we found a gorge with hot springs - no one knew about them because no normal road leads there. Just in case, I wrote everything down in the blog, because such finds are forgotten if you don't share them. The main thing is not to be afraid to turn off the highway and keep an eye on the gasoline level :)
