Back spasms ruining my life rn
Three weeks sitting at my home desk on a bad chair and now my lower back is completely destroyed. Tried massage, stretching, nothing works long term. Read somewhere that cortisone shots can calm inflammation fast. Does anyone have personal experience with this? Really need something that actually works, not just temporary relief pills.

I went through something really similar after working from my kitchen chair for almost a month - thought it was “just soreness,” but it turned into constant lower back pain. A cortisone shot did calm things down for my cousin, but it wasn’t some magic permanent fix, more like a window to finally move normally again. What helped me was reading this too: do you need to rest after a cortisone injection in the hip - useful if you’re considering it and want to know what to expect after. Still worth getting checked, since not all back pain is the same.
