Warm patch on the living room floor
Noticed one specific spot on our tile floor feels noticeably warmer than the rest. Read something online about slab leaks being common in Arizona and now I'm worried. The floor looks completely fine but that heat patch has been there for weeks. Anyone gone through a slab leak diagnosis before, curious what the process looked like.

A warm patch on tile would definitely get my attention, especially if it has stayed in the same spot for weeks. I’d try not to panic, but I would call a plumber who handles slab leak detection before it turns into a bigger mystery. From what I’ve heard, they usually check water pressure, listen for pipe noise, use thermal tools, and look for moisture without tearing up the floor first. Tile can hide problems for a while, so early testing is smart. I’d also note the flooring type, even brands like efloors, in case repair or matching becomes part of the process.
