The issue of health has been actively discussed lately, and I realized that it is really important. Players spend 8-12 hours a day at the computer, which clearly affects their physical condition. Injuries, bad posture, eye problems - this has become commonplace. But, in my opinion, mental health is no less important. Sometimes you can notice that players are starting to burn out due to constant stress and pressure. What measures can help these issues, and what is already being done in the industry?
The topic is really important. I recently read an article that talked about how even large organizations have started to take measures to support the health of their players. The problem is not only that they spend a lot of time at the computer, but also that the games themselves, especially in eSports, require constant concentration and stress, which also accumulates. Interestingly, in some countries there are already examples of mandatory health programs for players, and not just training and tournaments.
