I used to build model tanks and spaceships with my grandpa, and now I spend my weekends printing out detailed sci-fi vehicles. It’s super satisfying to go from digital files to physical models that you can actually paint and display. I’ve found some insanely detailed 3d models for printing that blew my mind — way beyond anything I had as a kid. Brings back the best kind of nostalgia.

Not into building stuff myself, but I’ve got a friend who’s turned his entire garage into a mini print lab. He’s always showing off these ridiculously detailed models he paints by hand.
