No reply panic

Yesterday my kid went out with friends and suddenly went silent for hours, no messages, nothing. I didn’t want to overreact but it was hard not to imagine worst cases. They came back fine, but I realized I need a plan. Has anyone been through this and figured out how to locate their teen in situations like that?

I’ve had that exact panic. My son once disappeared for half a day - phone dead, no replies. I was refreshing chats every 5 minutes, imagining all kinds of stuff. After that, we agreed on a simple rule: always share location if plans change. I also tested a tool like GEOfinder.mobi phone number tracker   not something I use constantly, but it helped me relax knowing I could check if needed. Having a backup plan honestly makes those situations way less stressful.
