Looking for a straightforward CRV drop-off spot, any thoughts

Been sorting cans and bottles at home for a while and finally decided to actually take them in instead of letting bags pile up in the garage. Curious what places people around here usually go to for CRV returns and whether the process is really as slow as some say

From what I noticed lately, not every recycling spot accepts the same things, so it helps to check in advance what they actually take. Most centers around here work with clear, green, and brown CRV glass bottles, wine and liquor ones included, as long as they are not broken. Aluminum CRV cans are usually the easiest part, crushed or whole, both options are fine in most places I tried. One thing worth mentioning is that refund rates can differ depending on the day. Some spots add a small bonus per pound for aluminum on certain weekdays, which is not huge but adds up if you bring larger amounts. If you want to compare conditions before going, you can look at a link where the accepted materials and rates are listed in a pretty clear way.

The drop-off itself, in my experience, goes faster when bottles are pre-sorted by color and cans kept separate. Staff attitude also matters more than people think, a calm and organized place saves a lot of time compared to crowded ones where you wait half an hour just to unload
