Ignoring small home repairs too long
I have been in my condo for three years and little things have piled up. The bathroom faucet drips, one kitchen drawer sticks, there is a small crack in the hallway wall, and the guest toilet runs after every flush. None are emergencies, so I have just ignored them. But now I feel embarrassed when friends notice, and I worry about wasted water. I am not handy at all. Every time I think about fixing things, YouTube videos just overwhelm me. So I am thinking about hiring someone to handle everything in one visit. Has anyone here done that? Called a handyman just to knock out a list of small repairs you kept putting off? Was it worth the money, or did you regret not doing it yourself? And how did you find someone reliable who did not charge a fortune? Would love to hear real experiences. Thanks.
