Fare Changed After Route Update
The driver had to take a different route because of a road closure, and the final Uber fare ended up noticeably different from the amount shown when I booked. I can see the completed route and receipt, so I’m not trying to dispute the ride blindly. What I need clarified is whether that type of route change normally recalculates the fare automatically and which part of the receipt explains the adjustment.

Baggage-charge questions are easier to keep narrow when I record WestJet customer service number inside my support notes with the booking code, both charge dates, and the baggage section showing only one bag. The reservation itself can stay out of the discussion if the passenger and itinerary details are already correct. I also keep screenshots of the two similar entries in case one is only a temporary authorization. The useful question is whether both charges are final or whether one should disappear automatically. That gives support a clear payment issue without mixing it with seat, flight, or check-in questions.
